Meanwhile, VMI enters the tilt against Christendom on a two-game winning streak on Tuesday, but will enter its next game on a three-game winning streak. There was no stopping them as they easily defeated the Crusaders 102-56. By the first half, the matchup was almost decided, with the score already at 51-25.
Tennessee Tech is currently 2-1 with wins. As for VMI, the win improves their record to 3-0.
Friday’s contest is shaping up to be a master class in shooting. Tennessee Tech has been incredibly accurate this season, shooting 50.3% from the field per game. However, VMI is not struggling in that department as they are shooting 47.2% from the field this season. Given these competing strengths, it will be interesting to see how their conflict plays out.
