British police spotted a suspect in a so-called “first” while executing a search warrant in an unlikely location, according to body camera footage recently shared on social media.
Bedfordshire Police posted the video via Facebook and it has now been viewed more than 138,000 times on the site. In the video, the suspect can be seen from behind, hiding in the couch’s pedestal and wearing only his underwear.

“We’ve seen a few things before, but I have to say this is a first,” Bedfordshire Police wrote on Facebook on October 11.

Perhaps the friendly dog led officers to the suspect, who was found hiding under the sofa after the officer lifted the furniture off the floor. The suspect was found wearing only his underwear for unknown reasons.

In a post on Facebook, Bedfordshire Police said: “We believe the man would be more comfortable lying in bed and will spend the next few hours in custody, which would relieve some of the pressure. It will happen,” he continued.
The top comment on their video was: “I bet he was an ace at hide and seek when he was a kid.”
