U.S. forces conducted airstrikes in Syria on Monday that killed two ISIS operatives and destroyed a truckload of weapons, according to U.S. Central Command.
Two ISIS operatives were killed and one injured in a precision airstrike in Deir al-Zawr province, formerly controlled by the Syrian regime and Russia, Centcom said.

The operatives were driving a truck loaded with weapons when they were targeted in the attack, which was destroyed.

“This airstrike, along with our regional partners, continues Centcom’s continued efforts to disrupt and undermine terrorist efforts to plan, organize, and carry out attacks on civilians and military personnel of the United States, our allies, and partners throughout the region. ‘and beyond,’ CENTCOM said in a statement.
