United Airlines We plan to add daily flights to Vietnam and Thailand in October, expanding our network of US airlines, which already have the most Asian services.
In the expansion, United uses unusual tactics in their networks. The Los Angeles and San Francisco planes heading for Hong Kong continue to two new destinations. Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam are scheduled to begin on October 26th.
On October 25th, United will add their second non-stop flight from San Francisco to Manila, Philippines, and on December 11th, they will launch a non-stop flight from San Francisco to Adelaide, Australia, running three days a week.
The career is actively adding far-reaching destinations that rivals don’t offer for their routes, such as Spain’s Nuuk and Bilbao, which begin later this year. Getting the mix right is especially important as careers seek to expand their lucrative loyalty programs and require attractive destinations to keep customers spending.
Bangkok in particular, given the popularity of “White Lotus,” “we’re in greater demand now,” says Patrick Keel, senior vice president of United’s Network and Global Alliance, about the HBO show.
He said his career is not planning to cut international routes due to future winter schedules.
