President Donald Trump’s administration on Wednesday called on the U.S. Supreme Court to withhold the orders of federal judges requiring the government to pay foreign aid funds to contractors and grant beneficiaries for past work.
The administration filed a request urging judicialists to suspend orders from Washington-based US district judge Amir Ali, arguing that it amounted to an overdue in the judicial world. Ali’s order gave the administration a deadline of 11:59pm on Wednesday night.
