Connecticut sampler Dehonai Carington caused a fierce rebound by wearing an anti -trump shirt last weekend.
At a press conference before the “unmatched” league match on Thursday, Calington declared that the WNBA player has “taken action” in response to President Donald Trump’s policy.
“We have confirmed that some policies have already been implemented. Of course, we take action, as WNBA is at the forefront of these movements.” Calington said.

Calington was wearing a shirt saying “F–Donald Trump Tour” when he stepped into the Wayfare Arena in Miami, Florida.
The player is the most famous interaction with the women’s basketball phenom Kate Lin Clark during the 2024 Clark’s rookie WNBA season.
In the first round of the September playoffs, Calington gave her black eyes to Clark’s Indian Fever and Calington’s Connecticutsan. After the incident, Carrinn laughed with Fever Teammate Marina Maburi.

Calington says she doesn’t intentionally pierce Clark and doesn’t laugh at the case. However, she revealed a controversy over Clark’s black eyes on an Instagram live video in October.
In the video, Narissus Miss, who played with Calington and her girlfriend, Clark and Indiana Neighbor, was in their kitchen when Smith rushed to Calington.
“Oh, you’ve seen me,” said Calington. Smith apologized, and they laughed.
“Did you do it intentionally?” Calinton asked.

Calington caused Clark’s fans before the remarkable incidents in several statements that blame Clark and her fan base.
During the June match, Carrington fouled Clark after CLARK received an inbound path from his teammate Kristy Wallace. Clark caught the pass and started to the basket. Calington was late for Clark for Auriya Boston’s screen, and she hit Clark.
In the latter half of the month, Calington posted to X, and Clark said he should talk more about the people who use her name for “racism” and the prejudice of other forms. She also called Fever fans “the most troublesome” in the league.
