Punjab Govt Extend The Lockdown till 31 May 2020:
Punjab Govt has extended the partial lockdown till May 31, 2020, for which a notification has also issued. All shops will remain open for four days a week.
According to this report, all the major shopping malls and educational institutions in Punjab will remain closed until 31 May 2020. however, some shops will open for four days a week.
Below the list of Shops which will open from 9 am to 5 pm:
- beauty Parlors
- General store
- Grocery stores
- Fruits shops
- Vegetable market
Here below the list of some Banned places :
- Marriage halls
- public transport
- concerts and sports activities
Earlier, Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan announced relaxation in lockdown for four days of the week Monday to Thursday in which all the shops and markets will be allowed to remain open. However, a complete lockdown will be imposed form Friday to Sunday.see more result
Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan said that the mega shopping center and places will not benefit from the relaxation in Punjab and will remain close.
PM Imran Kahn has also announced the phased lifting of the COVID-19 lockdown from May 9 and said that “First coronavirus case was reported in Pakistan on Feb 26, 2020, and the country was put under lockdown like rest of the world as the pandemic spreads very quickly.
it was feared that the lockdown would affect daily wagers and people were in trouble because of it. A thousand fatalities were occurring in a single day worldwide.

According to the Coronavirus Relief Fund launching ceremony PM said that the Ehsaas cash program phase two was aimed at helping those who lost their jobs since the coronavirus lockdown and didn’t receive financial aid under the first phase of the program. Under this phase program, the Government of Pakistan serving people will get Rs.12000 (twelve thousand) but according to Prime MInister they people would prove that they were working before the lockdown and have lost their jobs or business and face the financial problems or issues due to COVID-19.
