I give up.
There’s nothing I can do to overcome the dire situation of my NFL picks this year. I tried to change things up a bit last week, but things got even worse. I went 3-9-1 against the spread and 8-5 straight. With this, my season ATS record is 90 wins, 114 losses, and 4 draws, and my straight record is 128 wins, 80 losses.
I remember a month ago when I was hoping to get my ATS record to .500. It looks like that ship has sailed. Well, I’m about to have a week of victory.
As one of my colleagues said this week, “stop overthinking.” That’s what I did this week. I am hopeful that this will improve the situation.
It’s too late this year to celebrate, but please help us win the week at ATS. Only one? please.

This will be a big divisional game for both teams. The loser will be in big trouble. The 49ers showed some pride against the Bears last week, and the Rams are coming off a big win over the Bills. It’s always hard to go out during a short week. The 49ers will be ready for this game. They won with a strong performance from Brock Purdy.
Pick: 49ers 28, Rams 23
Bonus: SportsLine expert Micah Roberts, who bets on the San Francisco 49ers at 26-6, disagrees with Prisco on the total for this game, but what about the spread? On SportsLine Check out who Roberts is supporting.

The Panthers have the advantage here, as they have played well in recent weeks. Bryce Young is getting better. The question for Dallas is how focused they can be after a blowout loss to the Bengals at home. I think the Cowboys will too, and I think Micah Parsons and the defense will play well.
Pick: Cowboys 20, Panthers 17
Sunday, 1pm ET (CBS, Paramount+)
The Chiefs are playing for the top seed and the Browns are playing with a vacation plan in mind. That’s important. The Chiefs haven’t been good all season, but they’re finding ways to win games. If Jameis Winston can make a few comebacks and score points, they’ll find a way here. The Chiefs win another close game.
Designated players: Chiefs 21, Browns 19
Sunday, 1pm ET (CBS, Paramount+)
The Texans received a bye and the Dolphins won in overtime against the Jets. Miami’s defense didn’t play well in that game, but I think they bounced back here. The Texans still don’t seem to be in good shape offensively. Tua Tagovailoa led Miami to a victory over the Texans.
Designated players: Dolphins 31, Texans 27
Bonus: The SportsLine prediction model is up more than $7,000 on NFL picks since inception, but with Prisco gone, the Texans will be covering against the Dolphins as part of a five-team parlay. Visit SportsLine to check out the other four legs.

It was a close game, but the Jaguars won, while the Jets lost to Miami in overtime. At least the Jets were in that game. The attack looked decent. I think that carries over when Aaron Rodgers and the Jets beat Mac Jones and the Jaguars.
Pick: Jets 24, Jaguars 17

The Commanders suffered a bye, but the Saints defeated the Giants. But this game will likely be without exhausted quarterback Derek Carr. It’s hard to overcome that. Jaden Daniels is healthy after the bye, so they won’t be able to play against a team with a good coach. Commanders receive it.
Pick: Commander 30, Saints 17
Sunday, 1pm ET (CBS, Paramount+)
The Ravens get a bye, while the Giants are on the back foot. The Giants haven’t done much offensively, and that was an issue against the Ravens. Lamar Jackson and his offense will score a lot of points here against a weakened Giants defense. Ravens are big.
Pick: Ravens 34, Giants 14

The Bengals are coming off a road win Monday night at Dallas, where they played better defensively. I know Joe Burrow and the offense are going to score here. Will the Titans be able to catch up? No, they scored six points last week against a bad Jacksonville defense. They will score more here, but not enough to defeat Barrow and the gang.
Designated players: Bengals 30, Titans 17
Sunday, 4:25pm ET (CBS, Paramount+)
The Patriots will face a team that has lost three games in a row with a bye. Kyler Murray hasn’t played well the past three weeks, but things will change here. A win would get Arizona’s offense back on track and keep them in the playoffs.
Pick: Cardinals 28, Patriots 20
Sunday, 4:25pm ET (CBS, Paramount+)
This is a very important game heading into the playoffs. Both teams have byes, so there is no advantage. The Broncos have the better defense and that will be the difference this time. Look for Denver’s offense to play a cleaner game with Anthony Richardson replacing Bo Nix with turnovers. The Broncos win.
Pick: Broncos 22, Colts 16
Sunday, 4:25pm ET (CBS, Paramount+)
This is a game of the week that features two high-scoring offenses and two MVP candidates in quarterbacks Josh Allen and Jared Goff. This should be a shootout as both defenses have issues. The Bills have a string of road games, which won’t be easy, but I think they’ll find a way to pull off a small upset behind Allen.
Pick: Bills 37, Lions 35
Sunday, 4:25pm ET (Try Fox, fubo for free)
It will be a long journey for the Bucks to face a good team that bounced back from a loss. I think Jim Harbaugh will refocus his group here. Baker Mayfield faces a tough Chargers defense. The Chargers will get back on a winning streak and will make the most of this matchup.
Pick: Chargers 27, Bucks 21

The Battle of Pennsylvania is between two physical teams hitting the ball on both sides. The Steelers haven’t operated as well as Saquon Barkley and the Eagles, but that could be the difference this time around. With Philadelphia’s defense limiting Russell Wilson, Barkley will likely lead the Eagles.
Pick: Eagles 24, Steelers 17
Sunday, 8:20pm ET (NBC, Fubo Free Trial)
This is an important game for both teams. The Packers bounce back from Thursday night’s road loss to the Lions, and the Seahawks are at home with two straight road game wins. Seattle’s defense has been playing really well lately, but this is a tough offense to defend. Green Bay’s Jordan Love will take full advantage of that defense. The Packers accept that.
Pick: Packers 28, Seahawks 24
BONUS: SportsLine expert RJ White has a 74-31-2 record in games involving Green Bay, but he’s on the back foot in this important NFC showdown on “Sunday Night Football.” Masu. He’s confident in covering the spread on one side, and you can see who he’s picking on SportsLine.
Mondays, 8pm ET (ABC, fubo free trial)
The Bears will be on the road for the second straight week after their blowout loss to the 49ers. they didn’t play well. Minnesota is excited. Sam Darnold is playing at a high level and I think that will continue here. The Vikings will give Caleb Williams a ton of looks, which will lead to turnovers. It’s ugly.
Pick: Vikings 33, Bears 17

There is some uncertainty about Raiders quarterback Aidan O’Connell’s health due to a bone bruise. As for the Falcons, Kirk Cousins has been bad over the last month, so this will be a tough spot for him to bounce back from, no matter who quarterbacks the Raiders. I think the Las Vegas defense will beat the Raiders in this one.
Pick: Raiders 21, Falcons 20
