1. National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum
National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum is located in Oklahoma City.
According to its website, the museum was founded in 1955 and sources say it is “America’s premier institution for Western history, art, and culture.”

Immerse yourself in the Wild West with artifacts, art, and educational exhibits at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.
2. Oklahoma City National Monument & Museum
A visit to the Oklahoma City National Monument and Museum can be a depressing experience.
This allows guests to honor the fallen and learn more about tragic events in American history.
According to the Oklahoma Historical Society, on April 19, 1995, a homemade bomb inside a rental truck exploded near the north entrance to the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City.
According to sources, the bombing killed 168 people and injured around 850 others.

The attack was domestic and was carried out by Gulf War veterans Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, according to the Oklahoma Historical Society.
Today, visitors can visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum to remember those who lost their lives and learn more about the tragic events of that time.

3. Bricktown
Oklahoma City’s Bricktown Red Light District is the perfect place for a night out.
Bricktown has plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops for visitors to check out.
Plus, take in the beautiful scenery by cruising the canals in a water taxi.
