Olivia Munn and John Mulaney announced on Sunday that they had welcomed their second child via surrogate. Breast Cancer Diagnosis last year.
“Mae June Mulaney came into the world on September 14th 2024, the Year of the Dragon,” Mann wrote on social media, along with photos of her with her baby at the hospital and at home, and also shared her positive experience with surrogacy.
“Not being able to conceive a daughter has left me with deep emotions. When I met our surrogate for the first time, we had a mother-to-son talk. She was so sweet and understanding and I knew I had met a true angel. Words cannot express how grateful I am that she kept our baby safe for nine months and made our dreams come true,” Mann said. “I am so proud of my little Plum, my little Dragon, for making the journey to us. My heart is breaking.”
Ms Mann said her daughter’s name is pronounced like “Mei” and means “plum” in Chinese.
Mulaney made a similar post on social media, revealing photos of her family’s new addition.
“We stole a lot of stuff from the hospital,” the comedian’s caption read. “I love my daughter so much.”
Munn and Mulaney welcomed their first child, a son, Malcolm, in November 2021. Mulaney announced in April that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer last year, saying in a social media post shared at the time that she had undergone four surgeries over the past 10 months, including a double mastectomy.
“I hope that by sharing this, others can find comfort, inspiration and support in their own journeys,” the 44-year-old actress wrote in a post.
