A group of robbers who stole ATMs and tens of thousands of dollars in cash from 49 stores in the city over a three-month period is wanted in New York City, authorities said.
Police said the trio of robbers attacked 49 stores in Upper Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens between September 19 and December 26, the New York Post reported.
Police said the group stole an ATM from the store and took cash and other items before fleeing in a getaway vehicle that was also stolen.
Fox News Digital reached out to the NYPD for further information, but did not immediately receive a response.

Police said a group of robbers stole $40,000 in cash in two robberies in September, but it’s unclear how many ATMs were stolen over the three-month period.

The New York City Police Department on Saturday released surveillance video showing two unidentified suspects carrying an ATM out of the store.

As of December 29, 2024, the number of robberies reported citywide since the beginning of the year was 12,923, a decrease of 6% compared to the same period in 2023, according to official police data.
