New technology creates unique views of famous Van Gogh paintings

In 1889, Vincent van Gogh was admitted to a psychiatric hospital in the south of France. While there, he completed some of his most notable works, including “Iris.” This masterpiece has been studied by artists and historians for more than a century, but now researchers are using the latest technology to study the painting in an entirely new way.
