Talking about his playing at Team USA led perennial NBA All-Star Kevin Durant to tears.
The new Netflix Docuseries, “Court of Gold,” was the 2024 Parisio Games, which includes Team USA, where Durant was starring at the fourth Olympics, and gave all basketball behind the scenes.
In the Docuseries Netflix teaser video released Monday, he had to shed tears to wipe his tears while he talked about his time with Team USA and what it means to him in the middle of an interview.

“I came from an area where people don’t even talk to each other,” Durant said emotionally. “There’s a lot of hatred in the world too. When people start laughing at the game of ball and joke about it, that’s cool for me.
“So it makes me emotional, dog.”
To this day, uniting the world through basketball games is what captivates Durant.
“It’s crazy to see people travel long enough to see their favorite players play at the Olympics,” he explained. “They send money and bring in the whole family. It’s dope for me.”
Durant went on to say, “This game saved my life. It took me and my family from a bunch of bulls. I’m grateful for that.”
Durant is one of many Team USA stars featured in the six-part docusary, but he is definitely the perfect player to wear red, white and blue in his jersey.

Durant did not play for Team USA at the 2008 Olympics after his rookie season, but he was part of the Gold Medal-winning team in the past four games. The American basketball history player does not have four gold medals in that name.
Durant has also been scored the most ever by team USA basketball players, men and women, and he did so to help the US win gold in Paris in France.
The Phoenix Suns star was 36 years old and played professional basketball for the past 17 years after being selected as the second overall in the 2007 NBA Draft by then-Seatl Super Sonics.
Durant has created 15 All-Star teams, won two NBA finals with the Golden State Warriors, and created four NBA major scorers and 11 All-NBA teams.

While there’s no doubt Durant has a future Hall of Fame inductee on his resume, he clearly loves to play games in his country and in the NBA.
