A Milwaukee man is accused of swiping items from the same Walgreens store three times in one week. Most of the items were cleaning and hygiene products such as soap, toilet paper, razors, lotions, and other household items.
John Dozwonkowski, 38, currently faces two counts of felony retail theft, according to police records and FOX 6.
According to a criminal complaint, Milwaukee police were first contacted on Sept. 18 at the store on Howell Avenue.

Officers spoke with the store manager that morning and said that around 7:40 a.m., a “thief” entered the store and “started taking soap, cosmetics, and toilet paper and putting them in backpacks. The defendant then left the store. I left,” he said. without paying for the product. ”
The stolen items had a retail value of approximately $178, the complaint states.
Just two days later, officers were called to the same Walgreens store in response to another theft complaint, but this time the defendant “removed two bags of razors, lotions, and other cosmetics,” the complaint says. “I had put it in there,” he said. The value of the stolen merchandise was $435.

Then, on Sept. 25, surveillance footage showed the same defendant leaving the same Walgreens with “107 cleaning and household items valued at $889.63” in black trash bags, according to the complaint. That’s what it means.

The defendant reportedly left the store, but then returned inside, “walked to the soda cooler, picked up a 20-ounce soda, and left the Walgreens without paying for the soda.” .
Dwonkowski was scheduled to make his first court appearance this week, according to court records.
