Microsoft 365 users were upset Tuesday’s outage left many applications unusable.
Downdetector said user complaints began to spike early Tuesday morning. According to the website’s status tracker, most users are reporting problems with the email application Outlook. Users also reported issues with Microsoft 365 websites and its cloud storage solution, Onedrive.
Microsoft acknowledged the failure and said it was working to identify the “root cause.”
The company encouraged customers to try accessing Microsoft 365 apps and documents through the desktop application.

Microsoft did not immediately respond to CBS MoneyWatch’s request for comment.
