Washington DC – This April, the old White House tradition was re-emerged this April as Melania Trump invited Americans to the White House grounds and invited Americans to see their early gardens. The skies were mostly cloudy on Sunday, with highs near the 60th floor, and the sun was peeking out. So the threat of spring showers has not let anyone get away.
The Americans lined up early in the morning, looking over the Trump White House gardens across the south lawn.
According to a press release, the tour, which was previously scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday, was rescheduled on Sunday to ensure abundant attention and all safety near the planned public demonstrations near the White House.

On the tour, visitors will be able to see the Flower Garden, Rose Garden, Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, Kitchen and Cutting Garden, and children’s garden.

Currently there are 33 commemorative plantings.
“Since the 1870s, most presidents have planted commemorative trees during their tenure,” the National Park Service says. “The White House gardens are constantly changing with the seasons and administration.”
Nicholas Clemens, communications director for First Lady’s office, told Fox News Digital, “We are proud to continue the long-standing tradition of spring garden tours by inviting the public to enjoy the beauty and history of the White House grounds.”

“It’s a special opportunity for visitors of all ages to experience the gardens that are cared for by dedicated staff and enjoyed by the first generation of families,” he added.
Around the property are photos of First Ladies Melania Trump and President Donald Trump, along with the first family photo in front of the garden.

Sunday’s tour also provided a last chance to see the southern magnolia trees, which are said to have been planted by President Andrew Jackson.
The country’s seventh president served from 1829 to 1837.

President Trump recently said the tree was in “a terrible state” and needs to be removed due to the safety hazards it presents.

The Jackson trees were seen being supported by wires on Sunday to ensure the safety of both the building and visitors.
During the tour, the crowd flocked with “beasts” to take photos of the famous presidential limousine.

The White House is partnering with the Trust for the National Mall to raise private donations and recruit volunteers for the tour.
Julie Moore, a spokesman for the National Mall Trust, told Fox News Digital that she will be able to help with the partnership and “help the iconic White House Garden all year round.”

The South of the White House will be open to the public again for another weekend in the fall, following the usual arrangements.
