One lucky winner hit the jackpot after picking up her ticket at an airport building in New York.
The New York Lottery announced that the winner purchased the ticket on October 27th at the JFK Airport building in Jamaica, New York.
The award-winning TAKE 5 ticket, valued at $28,448, was purchased at a 7-Eleven.

A New York Lottery representative told FOX News Digital that there is no information about the winner at this time.
“Winners have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize money,” the representative said.

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from fields 1 to 39 and aired on television twice a day at 2:30 PM and 10:30 PM ET.
According to a press release from the lottery website, the winning ticket was drawn in an evening drawing.
Located in JFK’s Travel Plaza, the 7-Eleven is near the Belt Parkway and JFK Expressway and also features dining options.

According to its website, the New York Lottery is the most profitable lottery in North America.
The lottery contributed $3.8 billion in the 2023-2024 fiscal year to benefit New York state public schools.
