JetBlue Airways After a federal judge defeated two previous deals, he is talking to “multiple airlines” about the potential new partnership, the carrier’s president said Wednesday.
“If you find a compensatory deal, you’ll definitely do it,” JetBlue president Marty St. George told the Barclays Industry Conference.
In 2023, a federal judge ruled a New York Airlines partnership in the Northeast. American Airlines Another judge last year blocked JetBlue’s plan to acquire Budget Career Spirit Airlines, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last year.
A representative from JetBlue did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

St. George said the potential partnership would benefit the company’s loyalty program, with customers saying JetBlue’s frequent flyer points not as strong as the frequent points of the big three US carriers.
“I think it’s very, very helpful to be able to add that to our network given that we really don’t have a full global acquisition and burns,” he said.
