Four players have been announced as the next class in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Jared Allen, Antonio Gates, Sterling Sharpe and Eric Allen will be enthralled in Canton this year.
Allen’s former Edge Rush has recorded 136 sacks over his 12-year career. His career highs were shy beyond Michael Strahan, the only solo leader of the season, at the age of 22, when he returned in 2011. He was selected to four All-Pro teams between the Chief, Vikings, Bears and Vikings.

Gates was one of the biggest tight edges of his time and a stepping stone to what his position is today. His 116 touchdowns are the most ever on a tight end, with his 955 receptions and 11,841 receiving yards being fourth in that position. Spending his entire 16 years of career on chargers, he makes eight consecutive Pro Bowls and goes to Canton after missing out last year.
Sharp played just seven seasons in the NFL, and he certainly made the most of it. In his career completely with the Green Bay Packers, he was selected to five Pro Bowls and was an All-Pro. He led the NFL at reception three times and two touchdowns. He recorded five seasons with over 18 yards.
