Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon told Fox News Digital that the country is “keeping an eye out” for any possible aggression from Iran during the Trump presidential transition, adding that the Islamic Republic could carry out an attack. He added that it would be a “mistake”.

“So I would advise them not to make that mistake. If they think they can take advantage of it now that they are in a transition period, they are mistaken,” he said. added. “We are always on the lookout and ready for any scenario.”

Danon said he believes one of the most important issues for the incoming Trump administration is how the United States deals with Iran.

And, you know, the voice of giving up the 101 hostages while so many ambassadors talk about a ceasefire. We will never forget them and we will continue to fight until we bring them all home. ”
