Open the Settings app Tap your name at the top of the screen Scroll down and select iCloud Tap iCloud Backup and make sure the backup option is turned on Tap Back up now to start the backup process.

Connect your iPhone to your computer using a cable. On macOS Catalina and later, open the Finder. On older macOS or Windows, open iTunes. Select your device from the left side of the screen. Click Back Up Now.

Before erasing data, disconnect from services such as Find My iPhone and iCloud.
Open the Settings app Tap your name at the top of the screen Scroll down and tap Sign Out Tap Sign Out again to confirm
When you sign out of iCloud, the Find My service is automatically disabled.

Performing a factory reset
After you back up your data and sign out of Apple services, you can erase all your content.
Go to Settings Tap General Scroll down and tap Transfer or Reset iPhone Tap Erase All Content and Settings Enter your passcode when prompted and confirm Continue Click
