Open the Messages app on your Android device. Navigate to the conversation you want to delete and press and hold until the conversation is selected. A small checkmark will appear inside the blue bubble to indicate it is selected. You can now select multiple conversations at once by tapping on other message threads. This is a great way to delete multiple chats at once. Once you’ve selected all the threads you want to delete, find and tap the trash can icon, usually at the top of the screen. Then check with the following steps: Click Move to Trash. Similarly, all selected messages will be deleted in one quick operation.

How to prevent Android’s Messages app from becoming cluttered in the future
To prevent messages from accumulating again in the Messages app on Android, follow these steps:
