A creepy creature left behind at a Colorado airport is now on display at the Denver Zoo.
Staff at the Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance shared the news of the successful Halloween crab rescue on Facebook along with a photo.
“This colorful little stowaway, also known as the Moon Crab, hitchhiked on a flight from Costa Rica and was found in the main cabin of the plane as it landed at Denver International Airport,” the post said.

This crab has shades of black, orange, and red, and some say the crab resembles a jack-o-lantern.
According to Critter Squad, Halloween crabs are typically found in Central and South America.
“This rescue is one of many efforts in which the Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance participates,” a zoo representative told Fox News Digital in an email.
“We work with local, state, and federal officials and agencies to provide good homes for injured, confiscated, orphaned, or otherwise unable to survive in the wild,” the representative said. We are working closely together,” he added.

Crab size is usually 2 to 3 inches.
According to Critter Squad, they can live up to 10 years.
“To get into the Halloween spirit, you can catch this crab all month long at Animal Ambassador demonstrations at the Gates Amphitheater,” the zoo’s post said.
“Starting in October, we will be rushing to Tropical Discovery’s permanent habitat, where you can continue learning about this fascinating crustacean,” the post said.
