Former New Orleans Saints star Michael Thomas set fire to quarterback Derek Carr on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers looking to end a six-game losing streak.
One of Carr’s passes in the first quarter went over the head of wide receiver Chris Olave. However, it was Olaf who paid the price. The wide receiver fell to the ground, wedged between two Panthers defenders. He left the game with a concussion.

That drew criticism from Thomas.
“Get scared and panic and just throw the ball. Get him out of here, he’s so…” Thomas wrote. “The guy tried to lie and say he was jealous of Chris being WR1 all the time and not even giving him a proper ball. He needs his ball–whoa.”
“They fired all the coaches to try to cover up his shortcomings, and he’s still doing the same thing.”

The Saints got off to a 2-0 start with wins over the Panthers and Dallas Cowboys. However, injuries slowed New Orleans down and they found themselves on a six-game losing streak.
Sunday’s game was Carr’s first since Oct. 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Olabe was playing in his second game since suffering a concussion against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
