“Call button. I know it’s painful for the FA (flight attendant), but I haven’t discussed what civilized behaviour is with another traveler,” one user suggested.

“Trap it (hair, that is),” joked one user.
Another said, “You said, ‘I’m sorry, your hair is covering my screen, can you move it?” And if she doesn’t follow, call the FA. ”

The user shared an update on the situation and pointed it to someone sitting nearby, writing, “I sat there for about five minutes and actually thought it was a bit weird.”

Former flight attendant and Florida-based etiquette expert Jacqueline Whitmore told Fox News Digital that polite way of approaching such a situation is kind.
“If you say it kindly, you can handle anything,” she said.

Etiquette experts have instructed passengers who find themselves in a similar situation to get better at getting closer to the person causing the problem.
If the person does not modify his behavior, Whitmore suggested warning the flight attendant.
“I say, ‘Sorry, your beautiful hair is drinking my coffee,” she said as an example of how to handle the situation.

Whitmore said it is important for passengers to keep spatial awareness in mind, as respecting personal space is a major issue during flight.
“Unless you and your personal belongings have been infiltrating someone else’s, that’s not usually a problem,” she said.
