The FDA has raised the level of Costco’s egg recall, warning of the risk of serious illness and death from possible Salmonella contamination. More than 10,000 cartons of Kirkland brand organic eggs sold in stores across the South are affected. Customers are being asked to discard or return eggs marked with Julian code 327 and an expiration date of January 5, 2025.
