Elon Musk confirmed that SpaceX’s spacecraft will head to Mars at the end of 2026. The ship carries Optimus, Tesla’s humanoid robot. The tech billionaire said that if everything goes well, humans could be on the Red Planet by 2029, but admitted that it is likely 2031.

The Optimus X account responded to Musk’s announcement in two terms: “Hold On.”
“Starship is the world’s most powerful launch vehicle ever developed, with up to 150 tons fully reusable and 250 meters of tons capable of carrying consumables,” SpaceX wrote on its website. In US tons, it is fully reusable up to 165 tons, and up to 275 tons of consumables.
Mask has been talking for a long time about his dream of sending men to Mars, but recently he was found in the White House wearing an “occupied Mars” shirt.

On Friday, SpaceX and NASA launched crews heading to the International Space Station (ISS) with astronauts replacing Butch Wilmore and Snie Williams, who have been in space for nine months.
Test pilots Wilmore and Williams were scheduled to depart for space on Boeing’s Starliner on June 5, 2024 and return to Earth on June 13, 2024. However, due to thruster obstacles and helium leaks, NASA and Boeing put astronauts on the ISS and instead of having a listy journey they set out for the ISS.
