The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Green Bay Packers 22-10 in Sunday night’s wild-card game to advance to the divisional round of the playoffs.
The Eagles will have to wait for an opponent in the divisional round, as they have to play both the Washington Commanders vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Los Angeles Rams vs. Minnesota Vikings.

Just three plays later, Jalen Hurts, who survived concussion protocol after missing the team’s final two games, had all the time in the world in his pocket before darting to Jahan Dotson for his first touchdown of the season. fired.
Now, the offense the Eagles got in the first half was all but Jake Elliott’s field goal late in the first quarter, but Jordan Love and the Packers just couldn’t find a rhythm.
The first two offensive drives ended in punts, and in an attempt to get some positive action going, Love fired a ball deep down the right sideline for Dontaevion Wicks, but it was intercepted by Darius Slay instead.

It was the first of Love’s two first-half interceptions when Zach Baun jumped Malik Heath’s route and picked him off late in the second quarter. And to add insult to injury, on the Packers’ first drive into Eagles territory, Brandon McManus missed a 38-yard field goal, his first career postseason miss.
However, once the second half began, the 10-0 run wasn’t a big enough lead for the Eagles to call the game won. The Packers were finally able to get on the board, with their first drive of the second half ending in a successful field goal this time, but they certainly would have liked seven points instead.
But Philadelphia quickly responded with a touchdown drive, with tight end Dallas Goedert repeatedly stiffening an armed Carrington Valentine as he attempted to tackle him along the sideline, capping off an angry catch-and-run. He gained 24 yards.

The Packers, who were trailing 16-3, were unable to get their offense going well into the third quarter and fell into despair mode. So leading starting running back Josh Jacobs answered the call.
On second-and-10 from Philadelphia’s own 32-yard line, Jacobs bulldozed through multiple Eagles players, threw them to the ground, and charged toward the goal line where he appeared to be cutting his way in to close the gap. A replay review would put him behind on that one point, but the Packers gave it right back to him, rushing into the end zone with enough time to correct his earlier mistake and making it 16-10. did.
But the Eagles responded, as they have all season, in the face of adversity, making two field goals and forcing two turnovers, including Love’s third interception of the game, to halt the win.
Looking at the box score, Hurts was 13-of-21 for 131 yards and two touchdowns, while Saquon Barkley led the game with 119 rushing yards on 25 carries. And although he didn’t make it to the end zone, DeVonta Smith was the game’s top receiver with four catches for 55 yards.
