Carl Dean’s husband Dolly Parton He died in Nashville, Tennessee for more than 60 years. The singer announced on social media on Monday.
“Karl and I have had many wonderful years together. Words cannot do justice to the love we have shared over 60 years. We appreciate your prayers and sympathy,” Parton said in a statement. Dean was 82 years old.
Dean passed away Monday and will be placed to rest at a private ceremony attended by a Parton spokesperson.
