Airline passengers traveling to Newark, New Jersey took part in social media to share stories about flights they are less familiar with.
On Reddit’s R/UnitedAirlines forum, I am a user entitled “Paris to Newark Dog Barking.”
“I’ve never experienced anything like this. It awakened everyone. It yaped non-stop since about an hour of the flight. I went back to go to the bathroom and it sounded like barking my ears,” the post read.

Users shared that flight attendants encouraged dog owners to take their dogs to the back of the plane and to calm down.
“It quickly became clear that the dog was too big for his carrier to get up, or he would have lay comfortably if the extension panel wasn’t open,” the post continued.

Flying passengers say they recognized the medium sized dog earlier and witnessed cheating at the airport “stuffed into a small bag.”
“The dog was barking and scrambling to the point where the bag was flipped over. The woman didn’t mind at all. When the flight attendant said the dog was too big, her response was ‘He’s not.’ That was crazy,” Post said.
“What’s wrong with people that they’ll do that to pets,” the user concluded.

Another shared similar feelings, “There have been too many dogs at airports and planes these days. I love pets. But people need to remember that it belongs to them. Pets. Not children or babies.”
