Disney World’s new ride has become a hot topic among fans, with visitors discussing their thoughts on social media.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened this summer at the Magic Kingdom near Orlando, Florida.
Inspired by the 2009 film The Princess, this new attraction similarly follows in the footsteps of its replacement ride, Splash Mountain.

On the Reddit forum Disneyland, one user asked what fellow park goers thought about the ride.
“Please share your experience and review! And how does it compare to Splash Mountain?” a user asked.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens on November 15th in Critter Country at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, according to the Disney Parks website.
Many people who rode Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Disney World discussed how wet the ride was.
“We called it Soak Mountain after that. We got soaked,” one user posted.
Another said: “Amazing but I got so wet (all 3 drops made me soaked). I heard they were still adjusting the water level so I hope they adjust it so I don’t get high waves on my face.” “I’m there,” he answered. ”

Another Redditor said: “I got completely soaked every time, including in the 5th row.”
Another person agreed: “I got soaked beyond words and it broke down both when I got on it and when I evacuated.”
“This time I got soaked like a wet rat, but everything was great and fun. The animatronics moved smoothly and was fun,” commented another participant.
Many users compared the new attraction to Splash Mountain.
“The sense of impending danger that was always present in Splash is gone, so now it’s like a fun, quick run through a bayou at night, punctuated by a big drop at the end,” one Reddit user said .

Another wrote, “I don’t know if it was good, but I think it could have been better.”
One Redditor posted, “Splash has always been one of my favorites, but the new effects and animatronics are great and the lighting is gorgeous. Perfect for New Orleans Square.”

The Splash Mountain ride is based on the adventures of Briar Rabbit in the 1946 Disney musical film Song of the South, which depicts the lives of African Americans and Reconstruction-era plantation life. FOX Business reported that the depiction of the character was criticized.
“Splash had variations from room to room… Splash executed the ride story better than Teana,” said a user.
X users also started discussing the vehicle.
“We heard you’d get wet on this ride, so we came prepared,” said one X user.

Another X user wrote, “Being in the 1st and 2nd rows, you definitely get very wet on this ride. Even with a poncho on, my shoes got very wet.”
