March 30th – April 2nd
Annual League Meeting: NFL owners will meet in Palm Beach, Florida to discuss proposed rules changes and other league issues.
April 7th
Offseason programming begins: NFL teams that have hired new head coaches, including the Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, Las Vegas Raiders, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, and New York Jet, are eligible to gather for spring training.
April 18th
Restricted Free Agent Deadline: Players without contracts as restricted free agents (Accreued NFL seasons with less than three) will either sign the offers received by their respective teams or remain free agents.
April 21st
Opening off-season programming: All NFL teams can start training in the spring.
April 24th-26th
2025 NFL Draft: Teams select college prospects in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
May 1st
Fifth Year Options Deadline: NFL teams want to exercise their fifth year options, which were incorporated into their contracts for the 2022 first round draft pick.
May 2nd
Rookie Mini Camp begins: From now on, NFL teams can have one three-day mini camp (Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday) in one of the two weekends after the draft.
May 20th-21st
Spring League Meeting: NFL owners gather to discuss league issues in the Minneapolis area.
July 15th
Franchise Tag Extension Duration: Teams who want to sign a long-term contract extension to tagged players must do so by 4pm.
Mid July
Opening Training Camp: NFL teams can start summer training camp for rookies first and then veterans in preparation for the 2025 preseason and regular season.
