Angelo Crespi, director of the Brera Museum, told the AP that the museum and the “Last Supper” are among the top 10 most visited places in Italy.
“‘The Last Supper’ and the Brera Gallery attract 1 million visitors a year and generate more than 10 million euros ($10.5 million) in revenue,” Crespi said.
