When Starbucks customers complained on X about not being able to use the app, the company responded that “the app’s pre-order and payment features are currently temporarily suspended.”
“We continue to welcome and serve customers in our drive-thrus and in our stores,” Starbucks wrote from its customer service account.
By mid-morning Friday, Starbucks told CBS MoneyWatch that all functionality within its mobile app had been restored. The company did not say why the Starbucks app is not working.
