The man accused of bombing a Tesla dealership in Colorado faces federal accusations, Attorney General Pam Bondy said Monday.
Cooper Joe Fredrick, 24, was arrested in Plano, Texas on March 7th for allegedly attacking a Tesla dealer in Loveland, Colorado, Bondy said.
“Let’s make this a warning. You can do it, but you can’t hide it,” Bondi said in a video message. “Justice is coming.”

Frederick, a resident of Fort Collins, Colorado, set fire to fire and throw it at dealers, with several parking vehicles reportedly missing slightly. The device landed between the two cars and caused a fire, Loveland police said.
Police said there were several people in the dealer who were cleaning the building at that time. However, the quick thinking officers on the scene extinguished the flames and no one was harmed.
Police said the building and several vehicles were also damaged by rocks.

“If we take part in the wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla’s property, we’ll find you, arrest you, and put you behind the bar,” Bondy said. “All of these cases are serious threats to public safety, so there is no negotiation.”
Frederick was arrested a week after the attack. Federal prosecutors are asking for it in 20 years in prison, Bondy said.
In addition to federal accusations against him, Frederick is also facing local accusations, including a second time arson and possession of explosives and burnt Cen equipment.
He is one of several suspects charged in recent weeks in connection with attacks on Tesla dealers and factories. The attack appeared to focus on Tesla CEO Elon Musk and his role with the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
Lucy Grace Nelson, 42, also known as Justin Thomas Nelson, is also faced with charges in connection with another February 27 incident at the same lovebrand dealer.
