The World of Hyatt Luxury Resorts has posted an announcement of the transition to its website.
“Please note that from February 14, 2025, Alila Malea plans to transition to a resort that is only for adults over the age of 18,” the Post said.

“This transition will allow us to provide a peaceful and tranquil setting tailored to adult travelers seeking relaxation, exploration and peaceful stays on the beach,” the resort added.
The resort is located just a short distance from the Southern California coastline in San Diego County, Pont Beach.
However, Alira Marea Beach Resort allows pets with rooms listed as “pet-friendly.”

Two of the California hotel sister facilities are also for adults only. This is the Arilla Ventana from Big Sur and the Arilla Napa Valley from St Helena.
George-based civil rights lawyer Robert Patillo told Fox News Digital that businesses have the right to decide who to serve.

“Companies are generally allowed to ban children unless they discriminate against protected categories such as gender, race, origin, or sexual orientation,” Patilo said.

“Millennials and Gents are increasingly looking for childless and childless experiences. If this is a business concern, they should be allowed to do so,” he added.

“They want to leave their children at home with their spouses and sitters and unleash them with their beloved friends,” Reynolds added.
“Clients who want an adult-only vacation are people who want to stay peaceful, quiet and relax without much responsibility. They want to sit by the pool, drink a cocktail or two, and enjoy the views without distractions for the kids.”
