Jonathan “JJ” Jakovac’s visit to TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, Florida proved to be memorable on Wednesday. Jakovac is Caddy of Morikawa, the fourth largest golfer in the world.
Jakovac usually sees a shot of Morikawa’s ace in front of fans.
However, this time, the caddy had the opportunity to shine when he arrived at the teebox on the par 3 “Island Green”.
Jakovac hit the ball and saw him temporarily settle down on the downslope of the green before rolling back to complete the ace.

Jakovac remembered his thought process the moment he hit the ball.
“We had to ride the wind to get there,” he told Golfweek. “When it got off, I was like, ‘If it lands the right distance, it’s the perfect line.’ It started to spin and I was saying, “This has a heckuva chance.” ”
