Released this summer, the new Blues Springsteen album collection includes dozens of “unprecedented” songs from previously unreleased records.
“Tracks II: The Lost Albums” features seven full-length albums that have never been released between 1983 and 2018.
“I’m glad that I finally got the chance to hear it.”
According to the New Jersey Native website, Springsteen’s new album will feature 82 unreleased tracks, including 74 songs that you’ve never heard before.
“‘The Lost Albums’ is a complete record, some of which are mixed and even unreleased,” Springsteen said. “I have played this music to myself and have played close friends over the years. I’m happy to finally have the opportunity to hear it. I hope you enjoy it.”
He also talked about the album in the YouTube trailer.
“I often read about myself in the 90s, when there were periods of “lost” such as those. Really, I was working all the time,” he said. “What I did during that period during the pandemic was finishing everything I had in my safe.”
“Tracks II: The Lost Albums” will be released on June 27th via Sony Music.
