Suffolk County Police Detective Tracy Barry has reported missing person cases from New York after authorities in other jurisdictions refused to take action despite a desperate plea from Petty’s mother, Nicole Schmidt. It’s started.
Barry can be heard telling Northport police officers over the phone that Kassie Landry told her about the marital fight.
Kathy Landry said none of her family, her or Petit had contacted her until Barry reached out.
“Barry misunderstood what I told her on the phone,” Kathy Landry wrote.

In September, on the police Bodycam, which was first acquired by Fox News Digital and aired again on the new Netflix Docuseries “American Murder: Gabby Petito,” Barry over the phone to Northport police officers and Laundry’s parents, Petito’s presence tells us that there exists. The driveway after her loss appears suspicious.
“His sister told me another story about him leaving her there and flying home, but you still see the van in their driveway, but they don’t know where she is. I won’t say it,” Barry says. She points out that the vehicle is registered with Petito and says her family considers it hers.

“I was calling his sister. She called me and said, ‘Yeah, Brian’s house. He said they went into a fight. He put her in the hotel. And he’s back,” Barry said on the phone. “I don’t know what’s going on, but that’s pretty shady.”

Approximately two weeks before Petty’s murder, the couple were involved in a domestic violence conflict in Moab, Utah. The police split them up in the evening, but they were later reunited.
Laundry then went home to Florida for nearly a week, leaving Petit at his hotel in Salt Lake City. He returned and they resumed their trip.

Cassie Laundrie did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
She also claims on social media that she witnessed her brother as a victim of domestic violence at the hands of Petty.

Petito’s family rejected the event for that version.
“Kathy Landry is lying, and evidence and actions speak more eloquent than words,” Schmidt told Fox News Digital.
Kathy Landry releases after Gabby Petit’s murder
According to the FBI timeline, Brian Laundry is believed to have killed Petit on August 27, 2021 along with Spread Creek in the Bridger Teton National Forest in Wyoming.
According to the FBI, he staged scenes, created fake communication between phones, transferred hundreds of dollars from his bank account, and returned to Florida in a van. After he arrived he went camping on Labor Day with his parents and Kathy’s family at Soto Park Fort south of St. Petersburg.

The brothers met each other on September 6th and September 1st, when Brian Landry returned from Wyoming and her husband and child, Kathy Landry, spent six hours at Fort de Soto campsite. .
He refused to cooperate when police knocked on the door on September 11th, looking for Petty. He crept up on September 13th, but Landry didn’t tell police until a few days later.

By then he had been dead, but his body had not been found for more than a month.

Kathy Landry has long denied knowledge of what happened between her parents and siblings during the search for Petit.

“We are just as upset, irritated and heartbroken as everyone else,” she said outside her home in October 2021.

The sisters were to abdicate in a lawsuit in which her parents were sued by Petit’s parents, but her interview was cancelled. The side reached an out-of-court settlement last year.
