Recently, a woman took to TikTok to reveal some “unpopular opinions” that are sometimes discussed among travelers.
“When I go to an airport, I feel a certain rage,” Keegan Acton of Scottsdale, Arizona, said in a video message shared with his more than 65,000 followers.
Her most unpopular opinion was that she doesn’t mind crowded aisles after the plane lands.

“I see these TikTok videos all the time of people being like, ‘I can’t stand it when people stand up as soon as the plane lands,’ and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that,” she said in the video, captioned, “Obviously planes are annoying me today.”

She continued, “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with wanting to stand up and stretch your legs. I also don’t think there’s anything wrong with putting your luggage in the overhead bin so it’s ready when it’s your turn to get off the plane.”
The content creator also said that passengers believe that window seats offer more space than aisle seats.

“A window seat feels like you can lean against the wall, and for me, it feels like there’s a little gap there,” she explained, adding, “I feel like there’s more space, and I like to enjoy the cool scenery and entertainment of watching the clouds.”
Acton said he doesn’t think that’s necessary for travelers who prefer to sit next to their loved ones on planes.

“I don’t think you necessarily have to sit next to your partner on a plane. I think what you see all the time is the husband has to sit in the aisle seat and the wife has to sit in the middle,” she said.
She added: “I don’t think a wife should have to sit uncomfortably in the middle on an airplane just to sit next to her husband.”

Acton also spoke about how he feels about TSA rules and “rude” agents.

“I didn’t know the rules. It’s different everywhere. ‘Don’t yell at me. I’m sensitive. I’m just a girl,'” she said, adding that she has also been yelled at during security checks.
Acton also slammed passengers who don’t properly place their carry-on bags in the overhead bins.
“People who can’t put their suitcases properly in the overhead bins are idiots,” she said.

He added: “If they put the seats to the side there would be more space for people to sit. It’s very inconsiderate.”
Acton even called out passengers who reclined their seats during the flight.
“I think people who recline their seats are idiots. I know they have every right to do so. I know I have long legs. Maybe it’s more comfortable for me,” she explained.

She continued: “It’s just a little inconsiderate of the person behind you.”

When it comes to disembarking, Acton said she doesn’t mind passengers crowding the aisle, although other passengers have told her the behaviour is annoying. (iStock)
Ms Acton said she was also frustrated by inconsistent wait times in security lines, an “anxiety-inducing” boarding process, the spacing between gates and people crowding at baggage claim.
Rosalinda Randall, a California-based etiquette expert and trainer, told Fox News Digital in an email that individuals often refuse to “follow societal norms.”
Randall said passengers should wait their turn to disembark unless flight attendants have been notified ahead of time about the correct way to disembark from the plane.

“Unless you have a connecting flight, a once-in-a-lifetime job interview or are going to be late for a wedding, wait your turn,” she said.

Tandal suggested that if you’re in a hurry, notify a flight attendant before landing and politely explain to those around you that they need to stand up first and that you expect some passengers to be uncooperative.
Randall also commented on whether it’s appropriate to recline airplane seats during a flight.
“As paying passengers, we should be able to recline whenever we want, but when you invade someone else’s space, it becomes an issue,” she said.
She recommended considering a few factors before hitting the recline button on your next flight.

Randall suggested avoiding reclining while eating, only half-reclining if the person behind you is working on a laptop or holding a child, and asking for help if you have issues with space between passengers.
