Veteran actor Tony Danza has a tough story as Stefano, the boss of the mob in “Powerbook III: Raising Canaan,” and his current role as a character who has been talking tough as “Taxie” or “Whose boss?”
“I can do things that I wouldn’t normally be called,” Danza told CBS Morning. “It’s about to the end of your career and get something like this. One great thing is to shoot in New York, so I’m sleeping in my own bed.”
The 73-year-old actor appears to enjoy playing against Types in the series, and is now in his fourth season. He said he enjoys the show’s dialogue, comparing it to lines such as “40’s gangster films” and “Wearing cement sneakers.”
Danza said the network also supports the show.
“I know when I’m in a good thing,” he said. “This is the first time they’ve gone out of the way to promote it.”
When asked about “Who is the boss?”, Revival revealed that it would be a sequel rather than a reboot.
“Where are these people in 30 or 40 years?” And deal with today’s questions in an interesting way. ”
Danza also discussed his involvement with a youth organization called Stars of Tomorrow Project, which recently performed at the Triad Theatre in New York. Drawing from his own upbringing in Brooklyn in the 1950s and 1960s, he described it not only as “the toughest part of the city” but also as “the biggest era of living.”
When asked about his decades of acting career, Danza took piano lessons and mentioned booking performance dates, highlighting the importance of maintaining a positive mind.
“Exercise and moisturizing,” he said. “And I’ll continue to try and expand.”
