Reports say an American woman was arrested in Paris after she allegedly threw a newborn baby out of a hotel window.
The Paris prosecutor’s office confirmed the first reported incident at a local outlet Paris match, and reported it on Monday along with the New York Post. The child was thrown out of the window earlier that morning.
The fall reportedly occurred through a window on the second floor. The newborn received emergency medical care but did not survive.
The hotel is located in Paris’s 20th Allendy Cement, popular with tourists looking to visit the Pere Rachards Cemetery, where Oscar Wilde, Jim Morrison, Frederic Chopin and other famous people are buried.
