2025 NFL Scouting Combine has been closed from Indianapolis. It’s a really good group of participants, supporting the idea that it’s a year to find starters and depth, rather than blue chip talent at the top of the draft.
Below are the winners and losers of the week.
winner
Nick Emanwy, South Carolina
Emmanwori is one of two prospects who basically put together the perfect athletic display. At 6-foot-3, 220 pounds, he had a 43-inch vertical jump and an 11-foot-6-inch broad jump. Gamecock ran a 40-yard dash in 4.38 seconds with a 10-yard split in 1.49 seconds. Keep that in mind when you read the days of Matthew Golden by nearly 30 pounds. Speaking of Golden…
winner
WR Matthew Golden, Texas
The drum beat ran a 40-yard dash in 4.29 seconds with a 10-yard split with the first wide receiver named Travis Hunter being already growing loudly. After crossing the finish line he gathered his belongings and took in a more comfortable view for other activities.
loser
Isaiah Bond, Texas
Bond publicly He declared he would break the 40-yard dash recordformer teammate Xavier is set to deserve the previous year. Instead, he ran for an official 4.39 seconds. It’s still fast, but it doesn’t threaten the record. According to statistics for the next generation, Bond reached 24.17 mph on a 40-yard dash. This was the second fastest time of all performers.
winner
Terrance Ferguson, Oregon
Ferguson certainly saw the part on Friday. He paced the tight end group with a 6-foot-5 3/8″ 247 pounds, 40-yard dash (4.63 seconds) and a 10-yard split (1.55 seconds).
loser
Edge Abdul Carter, Pennsylvania
Carter could be the No. 1 overall pick in the April draft, but there is more skepticism about his beliefs than before NFL scouting’s Combine Week. It has been revealed that the pass rush had a stress response in his legs. Carter has learned that it doesn’t require surgery, but you’ll think the team will look more closely at their feet and take that into consideration.

Tyler Sullivan
winner
CB Maxwell Hairston, Kentucky
Hairston has promised to hold a show for the people gathered in Indianapolis. He was not disappointed. His 4.28 seconds of 40 yard dash was the best of a week. The Michigan native was highly rated for 10 yard splits (1.5 seconds), vertical jumps (39.5 inches), and wide jumps (10 feet 9 inches). But the most impressive thing was the work on the field. His break from the top of his drop was decisive and the angle was sharp. Over the past two seasons, he added everything alongside six intercepts, including three who returned to touchdowns, and Hairston leaves no unchecked boxes.
winner
Edgelandon Jackson, Arkansaud
Jackson measured 6-foot-6, 264 pounds to measure a pterodactyl-like wingspan. He ran a 40-yard dash in 4.68 seconds with a 1.65-second 10-yard split, then posted a 40.5-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot-9-inch broad jump. During drilling in the field, he showed good response times only with the occasional stiffness creases.
winner
CB Darien Porter, Iowa
Porter only moved to cornerback in 2022, but no one would have known that based on his fieldwork. At 195 pounds, 6ft 2 7/8″ Porter had an 80-inch wingspan. He ran a 40-yard dash in 4.3 seconds with a 10-yard split in 1.49 seconds. The remaining numbers were also impressive.
His wide receiver teammates Jaden Higgins and Jaylin Noel may have also been included in the winners.
loser
WR Tez Johnson, Oregon
Johnson is an outlier for multiple reasons. He is the lightest wide receiver (154 pounds) in the NFL scouting combine since Brandon Banks in 2010. Team 33 points out that since 2003, no wide receivers under 170 pounds have run a 40-yard dash (4.51 seconds). Johnson’s training on the field, especially the jump ball in the simulated end zone, was good. Additionally, he performed the fastest 3-corn drill (6.65 seconds).
winner
Edge Shemmer Stewart, Texas A&M
Stewart weighed first and foremost at 267 pounds. He played on a variety of weights throughout the season, but there were questions as to whether he was suitable to pay defensive tackle when listed at £290. Aggie wore an athletic display that he’s not seen since Travon Walker or Miles Garrett. He posted an unofficial relative athletic score (RAS) of 10.00.
loser
QB Shedeur Sanders, Colorado
There is no field or measurement reason for Sanders to include among the combine losers. During the NFL network broadcast, we found out that Deion Sanders has a favorite child each week. I was given the impression that Shedeur was my favorite this week. Deion is a favorite of Rich Eisens this week, text during the air, with Colorado wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr.
winner
RB Bhayshul Tuten, Virginia Tech
It’s a deep running back class, so there’s a lot to do to stand out. Tuten had the fastest 40-yard dash (4.32 seconds) and 10-yard split (1.49 seconds) as well as the best vertical jump (40.5 inches) and the second best broad jump (10 feet 10). He also did a good job of position drilling.

loser
RB Kamskattebo, Arizona
Skattebo was unable to participate in the NFL scouting combination due to injuries. But in his absence, like Miami’s Damien Martinez and Virginia Tech’s Beischul Zuten, they stake their claims on a higher position in the pecking order. Scattebo will have the opportunity to state his case at Sun Devils Pro Day.
